Description: Patras Science Park (PSP) is one of the six Science and Technology Parks (STPs) established in Greece back in the early 90s under the auspices of the General Secretariat for Research and Technology (GSRT). An initiative of the Foundation for Research and Technology and the Institute of Chemical Engineering Sciences (FORTH/ICE-HT), became in 2001 an independent Public Limited Company (Sociètè Anonyme) owned by the Greek Ministry of Finance. For over 15 years, PSP supports the growth of innovative, technology based companies across several sectors such as ICT, biotechnology, clean energy and other industrial technologies, contributing to the City Region’s knowledge economy. Patras Science Park operates according to the rules and provisions of the relative legislation for public and limited companies. It is managed by a Board of Directors assisted by a group of professional, dedicated and experienced personnel and partners.

Description: CSI is a coordinated effort by the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) to focus on the innovation challenges facing the service sector. CSI is one of the 38 Norwegian Centers for Researched-based innovation, Sentre for forskningsdrevet innovasjon (SFI), funded by the Research Council of Norway (RCN). The total CSI budget is 164 million NOK over 8 years, with 80 million of these granted by RCN. The Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) is the host and administratively institution for the center, in collaboration with its contract research unit, Centre for applied research at NHH (SNF). The additional research partners are SINTEF and Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO). Two international institutions participate as cooperating partners: Karlstad University (KAU) and Copenhagen Business School (CBS). Four of the Norwegian business partners involved in the center; Telenor, Posten, EVRY and NorgesGruppen, are all leading communication, financial, and logistics service providing partners in Norway, with international expansion through service innovation as a strategic priority. BEKK, inFuture, Induct and LiveWork participate as business knowledge partners specializing in innovation process management and ICT-supported service innovation. Virke, Abelia and Design and Architecture Norway participate as bridging partners.

Description: Validé builds on the successful history and portfolio of its predecessors, and combines technology transfer, incubation and investment functions. Early stage facilitation Validé fully facilitates innovation projects from the early R&D phase until commercialization by providing expertise in technology management, startups, incubation, investment, IPR and IP portfolio management, transactions, technology marketing, prototyping, and product development. Validé is the official technology transfer office of 10 research institutes and responsible for the IP portfolio management and commercialization of their intellectual assets. Validé offers incubation services to high-tech startups including accelerator programs, office space and full service startup packages. Funding We offer funding through various investment schemes including angel, pre-seed and venture capital funding and regional, national and international public funding schemes. Our goal Validé aims to become a world-class technology transfer office and incubator serving regional actors and providing a global outreach. The two merging companies (Prekubator TTO AS and Ipark AS) will still be legal entities responsible for their technology and venture portfolios and all previous contracts. All contracts and decisions related to activity and portfolio management will be dealt with by Validé personnel as everyone from Prekubator TTO and Ipark are now employed by Validé.
