The Innovation Operations Manager, as member of the HealthCare Technology Office will manage the operational aspects of Agfa Healthcare’s open innovation program and will support the Business Divisions to create and fund an innovation portfolio.
Responsibilities
As a Innovation Operations Manager you are responsible for:
Operational management of the Eureka program : follow-up innovation proposals from ideation to production, maintain innovation process and platform (Yambla), manage innovation community.
Manage open innovation ecosystem /partner network (tech companies, healthcare providers, universities, incubators/startups, VCs).
Organise Innovation Events (e.g. Innovation Day, Hackathon, boothcamps).
Identify potential innovation ventures beyond BlueHealth.
Provide innovation trainings.
Coach Business Divisions in innovation management and steer/guide R&D centers.
Identify external innovation funding opportunities on national / regional level and international (European, …).
Monitor best practices in innovation management.
Monitor and report on the innovation management KPIs.
Qualifications
Master degree in Commercial engineering or Informatics. Degree in innovation management. Leading or actively participating in a start-up initiative or venture-type innovation ecosystem. Min. 5 years experience in tech industry. Change management in large organisation. Understand the healthcare IT domain. Work in a multi-cultural / international environment. Pragmatic and results driven attitude. Influential with good soft skills. Good business mind-set. Love change and innovation. Good inter-personal skills, team player.
