I am MSc engineer (IT) and Master in Innovation Studies (WITS), with a degree in Competitive Intelligence (UP) and Theory of Change Studies (Stanford, CA).
My activities in technical innovation field are in area of innovation selection, innovation due diligence & audits and innovation management from idea and IP to the market. I have an impressive portfolio of innovations and I have links to many networks of innovators.
I am the technical director of The Institute of Inventors and Innovators (“III”) www.iii.org.za since 2006 and the MD of Eriscan (Pty) ltd. that is listed as innovation consultant service provider for Dep. of Trade and Industry, SA, since 2000. Eriscan is also a Technical Innovation Support Center (“TISC”) registered with WIPO.
Internationally, I am the industrial development director for South Africa for Growth Innovators Group from UK, an international group in support of commercialization of innovation. My links in Africa are with universities and Governments in Nigeria, Angola, Mozambique, Uganda, Congo and Kenya.
