IED São Paulo’s Mater Programme in Strategic Innovation and Design develops the strategic reasoning of students in order to enable them to lead projects in their fields by combining creativity and technical competence to generate innovation. It has been a long time since Design was seen as a mere makeover to become a key part of the feasibility and success of a brand, product, or service. This programme was created to meet a strong market demand for these new professionals.
Thinking strategically requires a broad and solid background that includes not only technical knowledge of design, but also advanced research practices, notions of Design Thinking, innovation, branding, cool hunting, as well as Marketing and Integrated Communication.
