Innovation is the essential part of Yara’s growth agenda. Corporate Innovation has a corporate responsibility to develop long term growth beyond the current business in cooperation with all Yara business units, R&D and the Strategy team. The Innovation Management Team within Corporate Innovation contributes to Yara’s innovation ambition by managing a portfolio of platforms and projects, consisting of developments with a long-term horizon or disruptive potential linked to Yara’s value chain. In order to strengthen the Innovation Management team, Yara is looking for an experienced and talented Innovation Manager who will support key strategic innovation platforms and play an active role in influencing and driving internal and external stakeholders in line with Innovation company ambitions. The Innovation Manager will lead projects related to new products, new applications or new business areas, often in partnership with research institutes and other companies. The Innovation Manager will have preferably an educational background in agricultural engineering or biology and/or experience within the agricultural sector and/or Circular Economy. The successful candidate is naturally self-driven, has a strong leadership and is eager to develop himself through a challenging mission. The function will report to the VP Innovation Management and be based preferably in Brussels.
